About Dascha

The name Dascha comes from the nickname David received as a child.  As a young violin student, David's mother lovingly compared him to the excellent concert violinist Jascha Heifitz.  Now, Dascha Productions is a company that specializes in excellent quality musical services and products.

Dascha Productions includes  private music lessons, live performances and healing music.  All of the products and    services at Dascha Productions come from a heart centered perspective.   

David Tovey:
As a music teacher, David finds great joy in training students of all ages.  His 30 years of teaching experience include; Suzuki Talent Education, keyboard classes for both adults and children, public school music, and    private lessons in violin and viola. Dr. Tovey currently teaches keyboard and strings at Widefield Elementary school.

As a performer David is experienced as a violinist, violist, and vocalist.  He has performed professionally with the Ft. Wayne Philharmonic, and more recently with Opera Theater of the Rockies.  He currently studies voice with the renowned Martile Rowland and sings regularly in the Colorado Springs area.

Creating music is also a passion of Dr. Tovey's.  He has published a number of musical compositions for string orchestras, has recorded several albums, and is completing work on a multi-religious song cycle entitled The Heart Of God.

David holds three degrees in music; a Bachelor of Music  Education, A Master of Music in performance, and a Doctor of Arts specializing in music theory and composition.  Deeply dedicated to his sweet wife and the wisdom she shares, David is also a facilitator in Myra Tovey's Heart Centered Living program.
